Meet Our Board
Ms. Getrude Dyabene
Getrude Dyabene is an Advocate with experience in public policy, governance, law, litigation, Legal and bill analysis, management, gender, and Health issues. She has experience in trainings, community mobilization and capacity building on issues of Human Rights, women rights, children rights and gender. As the Senior Program Officer for Gender, Women, Children and PWDs Getrude has vast knowledge on issues related to legal analysis, legal practice, Democracy, women representation, violence against women and children, disability rights, . child protection, Women political participation and Leadership, gender and gender mainstreaming, advocacy, and Human Rights in Tanzania. She is a feminist who tirelessly works for the emancipation of women in all dimensions especially women leadership and representation.
Mr. Deogratius J. Temba
Deogratius John Temba, a renowned gender analyst well-grounded in a gender principle, he is currently working with the Global Peace Foundation Tanzania, as a Senior Programme Manager – Consultant (part time); Previously worked as a Senior Programme Officer at Tanzania Gender Networking Programme (TGNP), a Tanzanian’s leading women’s rights organization and a major voice for women’s rights, gender equality/equity and social justice in Tanzania.
Deogratius has worked with TGNP since 1st of October 2010 when he was employed as a Programme Officer Communication, in 2015, he worked as a Programme Officer Research and Publications, then as a Senior Programme Officer – Advocacy, Community Mobilization and Outreach. Executive Editor and owner of Jamii Voice Media, an Online media which Publishes a Gender related articles to raise and amplifier a women and marginalized voices at a community level.
Ms Hellen Festo
Hellen has completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Management of Foreign Relations at the Center for Foreign Relations and B.A in Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Dar es salaam. Further, she completed a Certificate in Asset Based and Citizen Led Development, The Future of Work and Workers as well as the Social Enterprises Certificate all at Coady International Institute St. Francis Xavier University. Hellen has received awards and honors from China-Africa Youth Festival-China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Data Story Telling, Tanzania Data Lab, dLab & D4D, Uongozi Leadership Program- East Africa Uongozi Institute, Change in Tanzania World Camp-International Youth Fellowship and Kilimanjaro Model of United Nations General Assembly (KI-MUN-GA)-Youth of the United Nation Association.Apart from that, Hellen has attended different pieces of training and workshops in and outside the country, which managed her to acquire high negotiation skills, listening, debating, exchange for learning, lobbying, advocacy, persuasiveness, and confidence to deal with people in person, phone, and the Internet. Hellen has a career as a Researcher, Transcriber and Translator, Project Coordinator & Implementer, Consultant, Election Observer, Report Writer, Advocacy, Lobbying, Presentation, Facilitation, and Event Coordination Skills.
Ms. Marry Gabriel
Marry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro, Tanzania. with more than four years of experience working with Non-Government Organizations from Tanzania and East- Africa ( HIVOS & PACJA) particularly in research, policy advocacy, campaigns and movement building around gender Equality, Social Inclusion, Climate Change and Energy at both local Government Authorities (LGA’s). He is an experienced analyst with over five years of experience in enumeration, transcribing & translation of audios and texts from Swahili to English and vice versa, data entry, data cleaning interpreting and analyzing a ( quantitative and qualitative) large set of data that communicates the results in an efficient, impressive and valuable way to a different level of consumers.
Mr. Jackson Massawe

Mr. Rogers B Fungo
Rogers B. Fungo was born in 1985 in Kinondoni district, Dar es Salaam, he is a member of the National Council of NGO (NaCoNGO) who serves for a period of three (3) years from 2022 to 2024 supporting the coordination of all youth organizations in Mainland Tanzania. Rogers also serves at the Young Lawyer organization SHERIA POA as Head of the Program, and at the African Council of Religious Leaders (ACRL) as a representative of East African youth through the African Youth Interfaith Network (AYIN). Rogers served as the first chairman of the Agenda ya Vijana Tanzania leading the consortium in the process of obtaining the Tanzania Youth manifesto for the year 2020 – 2025, he has also served in various institutions such as SHERIA POA, Tanzania Ecumenical Dialogue group under Christian Social Service Commission, Inter-Religious Council for Peace Tanzania, Tanzania Youth Coalition, and Global Network of Religious for Children (FNRC) on the positions of program manager and program coordinator.
